The Hitscan Data Asset defines the key parameters for executing hitscans for a weapon, focusing on its default behavior.&#x20;

Variables:

* **General**
  * **`Hitscan Count`**: The number of hitscans per shot.
  * **`Max Range`**: The maximum distance a hit can reach.
  * **`Max Piercing`**: Maximum targets a hitscan can penetrate.
  * **`Damage Reduction per Piercing`**: How much damage decreases with each target pierced.
  * **`Range Damage Drop`**: Reduction in damage based on range to target.
  * **`Ignore Aim Down Sights Socket`**: Whether ADS is bypassed, ideal for high recoil weapons.
* **Pattern**
  * **General**
    * **`Pattern`**: The arrangement of hitscans.
    * **`Variance`**: Random spread applied to hitscans.
    * **`Circular Angle Offset`**: Adjusts the spread in a circular pattern.
  * **Fixed**
    * **`Fixed Pattern`**: Predefined pattern for hitscans if the 'Fixed' pattern is selected.
  * **Spread**
